SCOIL CHEOIL NA BOTHA

Scotstown, Co. Monaghan will host a weekend of music on the 12th - 14th October. The weekend run in conjuction with the local Eamon Ó Muirí CCE branch, will feature workshops on fiddle, flute, banjo, harp, uilleann pipes and piano accordion.

Workshops take place on Saturday 13th and tutors include: TG4 musician of the year John Carty (fiddle), Enda Scahill (banjo), Michael Rooney (harp), June Mc Cormack (flute), Tiarnán Ó Duinnchinn (uilleann pipes), Damien O'Brien (fiddle) and Oliver Loughlin (piano accordion).

A celebrity concert will take place that night featuring tutors plus special guests. Sessions will take place over the course of the weekend featuring; Seán Mc Elwain, Paul Finn, Ronan Flaherty, Laura Beagon, the Mc Cague Family, Fionnuala and Aonghus Rooney and many more.
